Ghosting

We hire someone, and then on what is supposed to be their first day, they ghost us.

You mean they don't show up?

You said you had experience developing video games.

Well, Pac Man would be nothing without me.

No, they do, but I find that they are lying on their resumes.

Maybe the problem with so many people ghosting their new employers is that there are just too many power pellets in offices these days.
