There's a lot of controversy around this "quiet quitting" thing. It's not really quitting if you keep doing your job. It seems like it's almost a response to "responsibility inflation," where over time your job responsibilities increase faster than your pay. If you stop doing the extra stuff, should your employer terminate you or give you a raise to get you to do more?
