Are We Secure?

All day, hackers try to access our computers by guessing different login account names. They try some names thousands of times.

How can you tell if one has actually been compromised?

I'm Alright. Nobody worry 'bout me.

Well, this one has been.

It's clearly experienced too many "Kenny" Logins.

Why you got to gimme a fight? Can't you just let it be?

This really happens. My /var/log/auth.log file is full of login attempts from all kinds of user names. Some of my favorites:

All login attempts have failed so far. I can't even log in sometimes.
