Typically when you want to run Linux on your ARM, you're actually talking about an operating system on an Advanced RISC Machine. For those of you unfamiliar with ARM-based computers, they are an alternative to your typical x86-based desktop PCs or servers and have been gaining in popularity for devices where power consumption is a concern.

Maybe someday they'll be embedded in tattoos as well.
