It's like when I tell people I got a "new" car. It's new to me, but certainly not new new. The quotes make the difference. But I guess if I tell you over the phone you can't see me doing the air-quotes thing with my fingers.

My mother actually has a roll-top desk like the one here, but it wasn't made in the 1800's. I think the 1980's, which is close enough. She doesn't have a computer on it.
